MY PHILOSOPHY

My role as a psychotherapist involves joining you in an exploration of the self and the uncovering of underlying stressors, as well as of your strengths in order to create change. As human beings, we have wounds and carry them around from day to day. This can affect our view of ourselves, our behavior, our relationships, and our overall perspective on life. There may be times in our life where we feel overwhelmed, vulnerable, useless and hopeless, anxious, and downright fatigued and depressed. Life's challenges can be difficult and can even seem impossible to overcome.

Although we may not know it in the moment, we all have the strength and freedom within us to make choices that will help us meet these challenges.

In our therapy, whether individual or couples, we will attempt to create deeper change that will ripple into your identity, perspectives, and relationships. These changes can increase positive mood states, awaken confidence, increase healthy communication skills, and add a sense of peace and clarity in one's life.
